Police kill black teenager and the population revolts; three buses are set on fire in São Paulo.

A protest against the death of a black teenager in Vila Clara, a southern neighborhood of São Paulo, ended with at least three buses burned and one protester arrested. The young man was shot and killed after a police operation at the scene.

247 - The murder of a 14-year-old black youth by São Paulo police has outraged residents of Vila Clara, in the city of São Paulo. Guilherme Silva Guedes, 15, disappeared after an incident involving a police officer who was working as a security guard at a warehouse in the area. 

The report from the R7 portal It highlights that "after a robbery at the establishment, the alleged police officer went after those responsible in the area, 'mistaking' the teenager."

The article from the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper. The report states that "the demonstration began at 16 PM in front of the teenager's house, peacefully. According to the Military Police, the demonstrators then started burning tires and blocked the road. The Military Police were called in and, according to the corporation, prevented Cupecê Avenue from also being blocked. According to the Fire Department, at least three buses were completely burned."

The article also reports that "in another action involving the Military Police, the corporation removed 14 officers involved in two cases of assault during approaches on June 12 and 13, in Greater São Paulo. The police officers were identified after images of the assaults recorded by witnesses went viral on social media."
