Police release new video of the Realengo killer.

The recording reveals that the murder had been plotted for over a year by Wellington Menezes de Oliveira.

A new video made by Wellington Menezes de Oliveira, the killer of 12 students at the Realengo school in Rio de Janeiro, reveals that the crime had been planned for almost a year. The Rio de Janeiro Civil Police released the video on Wednesday. In it, Wellington appears reading a letter. In the 58-second recording, the killer stares seriously and intently at the camera he himself set up to record while sitting on a sofa. The last time the video was shown was in July 2010. Therefore, the images were taken before that date, demonstrating that the former student of the Tasso da Silveira Municipal School had been planning the crime for over a year. The images were recovered from the shooter's computer by the police.

In the video, Wellington says that "most of the people who disrespect me think I'm an idiot, they take advantage of my kindness, they judge me prematurely. They are false witnesses (sic). They will find out who I am in the most radical way. An action I will take for my fellow men who are humiliated, assaulted, disrespected in various places, especially in schools and colleges, for being different, for not being part of the group of the unfaithful, the hypocrites (sic), the false, the corrupt, the evil. They are humiliated for being good."
