This Friday (15), he cited excerpts from the testimony of Lieutenant-Brigadier Carlos de Almeida Baptista Junior, former Air Force commander, which implicated Bolsonaro. "They can close the investigations! There is enough evidence to prosecute Bolsonaro (and not only him) for attempted coup," wrote the jurist.
He cited a passage from Baptista Junior's testimony in which the former commander says that the coup d'état planned by Jair Bolsonaro's inner circle to keep him in the Presidency despite Lula's undeniable victory could have been carried out if General Marco Antônio Freire Gomes, then commander of the Army, had joined the plan.
