PML: Voting for a minor party is also voting against Dilma.

Columnist Paulo Moreira Leite warns left-leaning voters more inclined to vote for names like Luciana Genro, Eduardo Jorge, or Zé Maria in the first round, and then decide what to do in the second; "It could have a decisive weight because we are talking about an election that can be decided within the margin of error," he says; "It gives a new chance to the most dangerous opponent. 247 - Journalist Paulo Moreira Leite, director of 247 in Brasília, warns that the election could go to a second round due to voters more identified with the left or the progressive camp.

"A new conversation has emerged that could play a decisive role today, as 140 million Brazilians leave their homes to vote in the first round of the presidential election. It consists of saying that today you vote for what you truly believe in, and in the second round you choose the lesser of two evils," he says in the text. "No vote is a joke".

According to him, voting for the smaller parties favors the opposition to President Dilma Rousseff. It could have a decisive impact because we're talking about an election that could be decided by a margin of error," he says."It gives a new chance to the most dangerous opponent. In 2014, it will be a chance for those defeated in the first round to negotiate a grand alliance to consolidate what they couldn't do in the first phase: a coordinated and unified action against Dilma."
