Brazilian Federal Police tell Moraes they are against the return of Braga Netto's electronic devices.

The corporation argued that maintaining custody of the items is necessary to allow for a possible comparison or new forensic extraction of the data.

247 - The Federal Police (PF) expressed its opposition to the return of electronic devices from General Braga Netto in an opinion sent to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), this Thursday (23).

In its statement, the corporation argued that maintaining custody of the items, which include a cell phone, computer, and flash drives, is necessary to allow for a possible comparison or new forensic analysis of the data.

The items were seized by the Federal Police during Operation Tempus Veritatis, carried out on February 8, 2024, which is investigating an attempted coup d'état.

The general's defense, in turn, argued that the contents of the devices had already been extracted and used in the development of the final investigation report.
