Patrícia Lélis reports that her CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID) was used to apply for emergency aid.

"In the early morning I received a super strange email with my data talking about emergency aid. I checked it on the emergency aid app itself and, believe it or not: SOMEONE USED MY CPF (Brazilian tax identification number) to apply and it was approved," wrote journalist Patrícia Lélis on Twitter.

Forum Magazine - Journalist Patrícia Lélis, who is waging a legal battle against Congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro (PSL-SP), reported this Sunday (14) that her CPF was used to request the R$ 600 emergency aid paid by the federal government during the coronavirus pandemic.

“In the early morning I received a super strange email with my data talking about emergency aid. I checked it on the emergency aid app itself and, believe it or not: SOMEONE USED MY CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID number) to apply and it was approved,” she wrote, who has lived in the United States since the end of the 2018 elections.
