247 - Former biased judge Sérgio Moro, declared biased by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) in the cases against former president Lula in Lava Jato, stated this Tuesday (11) that Lula and Jair Bolsonaro "are afraid" of his pre-candidacy.

"This story that I provided services to Odebrecht is completely false. Bolsonaro and Lula are spreading lies because they are afraid of my pre-candidacy," said the biased former judge in an interview with Rádio Metrópole, from Bahia.

The presidential candidate for Podemos also blamed Bolsonaro for Lula's 'return' to the political scene. "We know that this government dismantled the fight against corruption, we know that this government wants to hand power back to Lula. He [Bolsonaro] is primarily responsible for Lula's return because this government is a failure."

During a lecture to businesspeople in Campina Grande, ParaíbaThe former judge stated that the accusation that he helped Alvarez & Marsal profit by taking over the bankruptcy proceedings of the companies he helped bankrupt is "a collection of fake news."

"The job I was hired for is compliance, corporate investigation, and anti-corruption. What I basically did was assist and advise companies in building corporate anti-corruption programs. Our government abandoned this, but the private sector did not," Moro explained.

What the former judge didn't tell the audience of businessmen from Paraíba is that Alvarez & Marsal profited by taking over the judicial reorganization of the companies he bankrupted when he was a judge. The presidential candidate from Podemos didn't need to provide services to Odebrecht to demonstrate a conflict of interest.

The Brazilian Federal Court of Accounts wants to know how the US company... Alvarez & Marsal profited from Lava Jato., in the collapse of Brazilian construction companies, and how he remunerated former judge Sergio Moro, declared biased and partial by the Supreme Federal Court.
