Bolsonaro-supporting pastor Silas Malafaia leads a prayer to shut down the electoral system (video)
Silas Malafaia, a leading evangelical supporter of Bolsonaro, says he hopes the electoral system will collapse if fraud occurs.
From Free Journalists - This Sunday (4), during a religious service, the Bolsonaro-supporting pastor Silas Malafaia said that he prays for the electoral system to be interrupted on election day. Malafaia, who distrusts electronic voting machines, says that if the electoral system is rigged, Jesus should shut down the machines for eight hours. In August, during the March for Jesus, the pastor had already declared that he was praying for the voting machines to be stopped in October.
"So, what is my prayer? I am praying, and I want you to agree. I said it there in the apotheosis before the President of the Republic. If they try to steal this election and commit fraud, in the name of Jesus, this system will be locked. It will remain locked for at least 8 hours, and no one will be able to unlock it. Then there will have to be another election, that is my prayer. We ask you, Lord, for at least eight hours, so that the truth may prevail. May the spirit of enchantment, lies, and deceit fall to the ground in our nation."
