Pride in being Brazilian is growing, according to Datafolha.

The index measured by the institute registered growth from 157, a level already considered high, to 173; it was the main influencer of the Datafolha Confidence Index, which measures the general mood of the electorate; other data that pushed the IDC upwards were the better expectations regarding the purchasing power of salaries and the improvement in the evaluation of Brazil as a place to live.

247 - Beyond the electoral landscape, the Datafolha institute measured the general mood of the electorate three months before the presidential and state elections. According to the survey, the index measuring pride in being Brazilian rose from 157 to 173 in one month.

The data helped to boost the Datafolha Confidence Index (IDC), created by the institute to identify voter sentiment. Other factors that contributed to the rise in the IDC were the improved assessment of Brazil as a place to live and better expectations regarding the purchasing power of wages.

According to the survey, 85% of respondents said they are more proud than ashamed to be Brazilian, 10% more than a month ago. The survey was conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 2nd, the first after the country's mood shifted regarding the World Cup.
