In the debate, Lula reveals a relationship with Roberto Jefferson that Bolsonaro is trying to hide.
The former president recalls that the former congressman, a long-time ally of Bolsonaro, was arrested after resisting arrest and shooting at federal police officers.
From Lula's website - Former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said this Friday (October 28th), during an electoral debate on TV Globo, that Jair Bolsonaro is trying to hide his historical relationship with Roberto Jefferson, his ally who was imprisoned after resisting arrest and shooting at federal police officers, including throwing grenades at security agents.
"He knows who he's hiding. He just tried to hide Roberto Jefferson, his hitman, his trusted man. Who sent the Minister of Education to the US in secret on a Brazilian Air Force plane? It wasn't me. And the Brazilian people know that," he declared.
During the Bolsonaro administration, former Education Minister Abraham Weintraub boarded a Brazilian Air Force (FAB) plane on a route to leave Brazil.

Lula also took the opportunity to say that Bolsonaro does not recognize the problems of the population and left the country adrift for four years.
"Bolsonaro doesn't know what a cistern is, what it's like for a citizen to have electricity in their home for the first time and be able to buy a juicer, for example, and have a way to earn an income," the former president added.
