"Nazism and communism are not even similar. They are opposites," emphasizes legal scholar Afrânio Jardim.

Legal expert Afrânio Silva Jardim refuted the claim made by commentator Adrilles Jorge, who was dismissed from Jovem Pan, that Nazism and Communism are equivalent.

"Nazism and communism are not even similar. They are opposites," emphasizes legal scholar Afrânio Jardim.

247 - In a post on his social media, jurist Afrânio Silva Jardim, a law professor at UERJ, commented on statements made by YouTuber Monark, who defended understanding Nazism as "freedom of expression" and the legalization of Nazism in the form of a political party.

The jurist emphasizes that Nazism is a crime and, therefore, "any party that preaches Nazism will be a criminal organization. Individually, it is a crime to preach Nazism and to advocate racism. Beyond the legal aspect, Nazism is barbarity itself, insofar as it advocates the extermination of ethnic minorities, being imperialist."

Afrânio also refuted the claim made by commentator Adrilles Jorge, who was dismissed from Jovem Pan, that Nazism and Communism are equivalent. "Nazism and Communism are not even similar. They are opposed... The values that underpin Nazism and Communism are absolutely antagonistic, they are opposite and incompatible," he emphasizes.

"Thus, Nazism is linked to genocide, being criminal by nature. Communism is linked to a radically more just society, although its implementation may require a revolutionary process, since no one 'gives up' peacefully," he said.
