247 - The Public Prosecutor's Office of the Federal District (MP-DF) has filed charges against the man accused of releasing autopsy photos of singer Marília Mendonça, who died in a plane crash in November 2021. The accused is André Felipe de Souza Alves Pereira, 22 years old.

He was placed under preventive arrest on April 17th in Santa Maria, Federal District, at the Special Police Station for Repression of Cybercrimes (DRCC).

In addition to desecrating a corpse by publishing the photos, André Felipe is accused of committing the crimes of Nazism, racism, and xenophobia for having disseminated, between June 2022 and April 2023, symbols, emblems, ornaments, and badges using the swastika on his social media.

The Public Prosecutor's Office of the Federal District also accuses André Felipe of inducing and inciting discrimination and prejudice based on race and ethnicity against people from the Northeast of Brazil, by advocating that they be placed in concentration camps.

He also used a false identity document and threatened the safety and functioning of school activities. He posted online publications praising and encouraging new terrorist attacks in schools on April 20th, a date that worried parents, teachers, and authorities because it is associated with the "Columbine Massacre" of 1999.

The Public Prosecutor's Office of the Federal District also requested the removal of Pereira's profile and the links associated with his posts. (With information from CNN Brazil).
