247 - Former federal deputy David Miranda died on Tuesday morning (9). The announcement was made by his husband, journalist Glenn Greenwald, on Twitter. Miranda would have turned 38 on Wednesday (10).
The former congressman had been in the ICU for 9 months. He was hospitalized on August 6, 2022, to treat a gastrointestinal infection, and suffered successive infections, resulting in septicemia.
"He died peacefully, surrounded by our children, family, and friends," Greenwald posted.
