Moreira Franco to 247: PSB is the one committing terrorism.

The Chief Minister of the Civil Aviation Secretariat responded to Tereza Cruvinel's blog on 247, regarding the statement by Alexandre Rands, coordinator of Marina Silva's economic program, that the Dilma government treats businesspeople like prostitutes; "I am shocked when I see an economist with responsibility in a candidate's campaign stating that President Dilma treats businesspeople like prostitutes. First, because he did so using shallow metaphors, in language inappropriate for the debate of public policies. Second, because of the profoundly misguided content of the statement. This, indeed, is wanting to create a terrorist environment in the electoral contest," he said; for the journalist, Rands' comparison is "a very shallow metaphor."

247 - After being challenged by the national president of the PSB party, Roberto Amaral, the coordinator of Marina Silva's economic program, Alexandre Rands, is now being rebuked by the Minister-Chief of the Civil Aviation Secretariat, Moreira Franco, regarding his statement that President Dilma Rousseff treats businesspeople like prostitutes.

The response was given to Tereza Cruvinel's blog on 247: "I am appalled when I see an economist with responsibility in a candidate's campaign stating that President Dilma treats businesspeople like prostitutes. First, because he did so using crude metaphors, in language inappropriate for debating public policies. Second, because of the profoundly misguided nature of the statement. That, indeed, is wanting to create a terrorist atmosphere in the electoral contest," said Moreira Franco.

The journalist also brings up another excerpt from Rands' interview with the newspaper O Globo, in which he made the statement about Dilma. When asked why businessmen resist the Workers' Party candidate, given that they profit from her, the economist replied: "Do you think a prostitute trusts the men she receives? Would she invite one of them to her son's birthday party? Of course not. She only has self-interest and fear." In Tereza Cruvinel's definition, "a very shallow metaphor."
