247 - Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court, issued this Friday (23) his vote for the conviction of more than 15 Bolsonaro supporters accused by the Attorney General's Office (PGR) of involvement in the coup acts that took place on January 8, 2023.
The case is being judged in the Supreme Court's virtual plenary session, with a conclusion expected by March 1st. The proposed sentences range from 14 to 17 years of imprisonment.
The defendants are charged with crimes such as violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, aggravated damage, coup d'état, deterioration of listed heritage sites, and criminal association.
