Moraes orders and the Federal Police conduct searches against more than 80 Bolsonaro supporters involved in coup attempts.

247 - By order of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) minister Alexandre de Moraes in the context of the fake news inquiry, the Federal Police carried out searches this Thursday morning (15) against more than 80 Bolsonaro supporters involved in anti-democratic and coup-mongering acts, including those who closed highways across the country after Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) defeat at the polls and the encampments in front of military barracks.

In early December, Moraes had already fined the owners of the trucks allegedly involved in blocking the roads R$100. He also prohibited the vehicles from circulating and blocked their registration documents.

In a speech at the diploma ceremony for the president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), on Monday (12), Moraes promised 'full accountability' those responsible for the "anti-democratic attacks".
