247 - Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes has revoked the restrictions imposed on Valdemar da Costa Neto, president of the PL party, allowing him to resume contact with former president Jair Bolsonaro, according to the journalist. Laura Jardim in his column in the newspaper O Globo.
Valdemar, who was investigated for alleged involvement in a coup plot, was prohibited from communicating with the other targets of the investigation. In addition to this restriction, Moraes also overturned the ban on leaving the country and the prohibition on participating in military ceremonies.
The PL leader had been indicted by the Federal Police (PF) in the investigation into the attempted coup, but was not included in the complaint filed by the Attorney General's Office (PGR) last month. In view of this, on the morning of this Tuesday (11), Valdemar requested the revocation of the restrictive measures.
In the early afternoon, he and his lawyer, Marcelo Bessa, met with Alexandre de Moraes at the Supreme Court. Shortly afterward, the minister granted the request, restoring the freedom of movement and communication of the party leader.
