Jovelino, a partner of Emílio Odebrecht, organized the dinner at the Alvorada Palace to collect money from those who were going to finance the FHC Institute as soon as his friend left the Presidency. Emílio was one of the "financiers".
Odebrecht stated that he built an airport on a farm adjacent to FHC's in Minas Gerais, and that the airport was mainly used by FHC's family.
Jovelino also allegedly lent FHC a 100-square-meter apartment in Paris, where, according to his mother, Mirian, his non-biological son, Tomás, resides.
