247 - The Minister of Tourism, Marcelo Álvaro Antônio (PSL), accused of leading a scheme of fake candidacies in Minas Gerais, met with President Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) on Wednesday afternoon (20), after having cancelled a meeting with Vice President Hamilton Mourão (PRTB).

The meeting took place amid a crisis of fraudulent PSL candidacies in several states, but the press office did not confirm the topic of the meeting or whether it was related to the issue.

Álvaro was scheduled to meet with the vice president, General Hamilton Mourão, but he did not attend. His staff were unable to provide a reason for his absence.

The meeting with Bolsonaro takes place on the same day that Folha revealed that former state deputy candidate Cleuzenir Barbosa (PSL-MG) handed over to the Public Prosecutor's Office a message in which an advisor to Álvaro Antônio demands the return of public campaign funds to allocate them to a company linked to another advisor of the politician.
