Message about Geddel suggests that Temer is the boss.

Messages recovered by investigators of Operation Cui Bono, launched by the Federal Police (PF) this Friday (13) and which targets former minister Geddel Vieira Lima, suggest that Michel Temer was aware of the scheme set up by the collaborator when he was vice-president of Legal Entities at Caixa Econômica Federal, between 2011 and 2013; in one of the recovered messages, former Speaker of the House Eduardo Cunha warns businessman Lucio Funaro about the transfers and "what would be due to Geddel"; "Do me a favor, call Geddel and see which email he wants you to pass this on to or who you give it to, because if he doesn't resolve it I'm going to screw him over at Michel. That pig is a fucking slacker," Funaro told Cunha.

247 - Messages recovered by investigators from Operation Cui Bono, launched by the Federal Police (PF) this Friday (13) and which targets former minister Geddel Vieira Lima, suggest that Michel Temer was aware of the scheme set up by the collaborator in embezzlement and irregularities committed when he was vice-president of Corporate Banking at Caixa Econômica Federal, between 2011 and 2013. Geddel is being investigated for the alleged crime of passive corruption by the Public Prosecutor's Office and the PF.

In one of the recovered messages, dated September 2012, former congressman and former Speaker of the House Eduardo Cunha, imprisoned in connection with the Lava Jato corruption scandal, warns businessman Lucio Funaro about the payments planned within the scheme and about "what Geddel would receive." "I didn't even go there today, and this guy thinks I have a printer," Funaro retorted. "It's already credited. And it has to be done, my son," Cunha emphasized. In April, Funaro had referred to Geddel as having a "crocodile's mouth" for receiving money and as a "little lamb to work," in addition to calling him a "complainer."

"Do me a favor, call Geddel and see which email he wants you to send this to, or who you should give it to, because if he doesn't resolve this, I'm going to screw him over at Michel's. That pig is a fucking freeloader," said Funaro. "He's a crocodile mouth when it comes to receiving money and a little canary when it comes to working, and he still complains, but now I'm fully capable of going toe-to-toe with him if he bothers me. I'm fully capable of going toe-to-toe with him, you wimp," he added.

Operation Cui Bono is an offshoot of Operation Catilinárias, carried out in December 2015. During the investigations, the Federal Police found a cell phone in Cunha's house which, after being examined, ended up revealing the fraud scheme at Caixa Econômica Federal (a Brazilian bank).
