247 - On Wednesday (6), the Ministry of Education (MEC) announced the payment schedule for the enrollment bonus of R$ 200, intended for eligible high school students. This financial incentive is part of the "Pé-de-meia" program, which aims to financially support students in this educational phase. The bonus will be distributed in a single installment between March 26 and April 3, depending on the student's birth month. The amount will not be deducted from the attendance incentive, fixed at R$ 1.800 and paid in nine installments throughout the year, informs the g1.
Adding up the three years of study, the government will pay up to R$ 9,2 to students who complete high school. The program is expected to reach 2,5 million students.
Bonus payment schedule based on the student's birth month:
- January and February: March 26th
- March and April: March 27th
- May and June: March 28th
- July and August: April 1st
- September and October: April 2nd
- November and December: April 3rd
