Manuela D'Ávila: "Bolsonaro defends a country of torturers"
The presidential candidate for the PCdoB party, Manuela D'Ávilar, reacted to the provocation by the director of the Brazilian Rural Society and coordinator of Bolsonaro's agribusiness program, Frederico D'Ávila, who stated that fascism is "left-wing"; "You understand anti-democratic regimes being Bolsonaro's coordinator. He defends a country without democracy, of torturers (...) Everyone knows that fascism was a right-wing movement," she fired back.
247 - In an interview she gave yesterday to the TV Cultura program Roda Viva, the presidential candidate for the PCdoB, Manuela D'Ávila, was provoked by one of the interviewers. Frederico D'Ávila, director of the Brazilian Rural Society and coordinator of Bolsonaro's agribusiness program, stated that fascism is "left-wing," since the CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws) was based on a law by Benito Mussolini and that she, like the other left-wing candidates, defends the legislation to the detriment of labor reform. "You understand anti-democratic regimes being Bolsonaro's coordinator. He defends a country without democracy, of torturers (...) Everyone knows that fascism was a right-wing movement," she said.
