The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rodrigo Maia, defended this Wednesday (25) the overturning of MP 928/20, which limited access to the Access to Information Law (LAI) during the new coronavirus pandemic.

Maia is awaiting a decision from the Supreme Federal Court (STF) regarding a possible change in the procedure for Provisional Measures during the pandemic, in order to expedite proposals coming from the government.
