Lula will take a delegation of 240 business leaders to China.

All government ministries will be represented during Lula's visit to Beijing and Shanghai from March 26th to 30th.

247 - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed this Friday (17) that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) will go with 240 businessmen in the delegation for the official trip to China at the end of the month. Of the businessmen, 90 are from agribusiness. Parliamentarians and ministers will also accompany the head of the federal Executive. 

With this trip, the Lula government intends to resume cooperation between the two countries, mainly in the political field. Jair Bolsonaro has attacked the Asian country in recent years. Lula's official trip will take place between the 26th and 31st.

In the economic sphere, Lula's administration wants to sell more manufactured goods, and not focus solely on commodities such as soybeans and iron ore. Also on the agenda are collaboration in technology and the fight against hunger.

"One of the themes of the visit is development, which also involves technology, climate change, energy transition, and the fight against hunger. It is a moment in which Brazil and China are also speaking to the world, and this will also be among the objectives," stated Ambassador Eduardo Saboia, Secretary for Asia and the Pacific at Itamaraty, according to the...
