Lula changes strategy and denounces Bolsonaro's corruption.

The former president's stance on the issue had been apathetic. Now, in addition to explaining that he was a victim of judicial persecution, he points to scandals involving Bolsonaro.

247 - Recent statements by former president Lula (PT) have indicated that he has changed his strategy to counter the corruption accusations made by his opponents, mainly Jair Bolsonaro (PL).

Lula's stance on corruption, especially after the presidential debate on TV Bandeirantes on the 28th, had been considered passive. On that occasion, he focused only on explaining that he had been a victim of judicial persecution and reiterated his innocence in the eyes of the law.

>>> Lula condemns 100-year secrecy: "There are two ways to confront the issue of corruption: either you make it appear, or you make it disappear."

Now, the former president has decided to raise the tone and point to the corruption cases in the Bolsonaro government. In an interview with Rádio Clube, in Belém (PA), this Wednesday (31), he fired: "the current president did not demand an investigation into Queiroz, his sons or the CPI allegations against Pazuello. He not only sweeps the dirt under the rug but also makes it 100 years secret. (...) We made the corporate card transparent, and now the president's corporate card has 100 years of secrecy."

Lula did not fail to criticize Lava Jato. "The greatest slander in the history of Brazil has been raised, possibly much greater than the one that led to Getúlio Vargas's death (...) The only federal court that convicted me was Moro's, at Dallagnol's request, because there was a political interest in preventing me from running for office in 2018. The Brazilian press should acknowledge that it was deceived for 5 years by a lying judge and a prosecutor who created a gang of prosecutors."

A video posted by Lula's campaign team on Twitter also reinforces a more incisive stance against corruption.
