247 - Former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is "pessimistic" about the coronavirus crisis in Brazil. He was emphatic in a series of tweets on Wednesday night (25): "Bolsonaro is not prepared to run this country."

He defended the actions of the governors, who are under attack from Bolsonaro: "I'm seeing the governors dedicating themselves. All of them. And the President of the Republic needs to come to his senses. Or Congress needs to make things happen."

Lula is worried because if Bolsonaro were acting, "who knows, we might already have masks, ventilators, and millions of tests." For the former president, Bolsonaro is acting irresponsibly: "Brazil isn't doing its homework because of the president's understanding that he's an athlete... and that it's just a little flu."
