Lula says he will have a "throat check-up" on Saturday.

A medical review will be conducted following the laryngoscopy Lula underwent at the end of November to remove a benign lesion from his throat.

247 - President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) said on Friday (2) that he will undergo a new round of tests on Saturday (3) to have a 'throat check-up'. The medical check-up will be carried out as a result of laryngoscopy that Lula underwent at the end of November. for the removal of a benign lesion from the throat. 

"I'm going for a check-up to see how things are. The doctors asked me to remain silent for a while longer, but no matter how hard I try, I can't stay silent," said Lula during a press conference held at the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB) in Brasília, where the government transition team is holding meetings. 

"I'll be fine, I need my voice to govern this country," Lula concluded.
