Lula shows his traditional strength in the Northeast, and Bolsonaro presents significant numbers in Rio de Janeiro and the Federal District; in São Paulo, Lula leads with 26%, followed by Bolsonaro with 19% and Geraldo Alckmin with 14%; in Pernambuco, Lula reaches 60%, and in Minas Gerais, the former president has 41%.

The Datafolha data was published in newspaper Folha de S. Paulo and they present various regional scenarios: "it In Pernambuco, Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) has his worst result among the five states surveyed, with 10% in the scenario with Lula and 12% without Lula.
The report highlights Bolsonaro's good performance in the Federal District: "on the other hand, in the Federal District, Jair Bolsonaro leads in all scenarios tested, including the one with former president Lula as a candidate." In a scenario with Lula, Bolsonaro has 27% of the voting intentions compared to Lula's 23%. Without Lula, he reaches 28% of the voting intentions and has Marina Silva as his main opponent, with 17%.
In São Paulo, the data was bad for Alckmin: "In São Paulo, Lula leads with 26% of voting intentions against 19% for Bolsonaro and 14% for Geraldo Alckmin (PSDB). Without the PT candidate, Bolsonaro reaches 21% and Alckmin 18%." It is also in São Paulo that Fernando Haddad (PT) has his best result among the five states surveyed, with 6% of voting intentions.
In Rio de Janeiro, the Datafolha poll shows Bolsonaro and Marina Silva with voting intentions above their national averages. Even so, the leader in that state is still former president Lula, with 31%.
