Lula increases his percentage of votes among low-income people, Ipec shows.

The PT candidate for the presidency gained another three percentage points among families with a monthly income of one minimum wage.

247 - The Ipec survey, released this Monday (19) and commissioned by GlobeThe poll showed that presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) obtained 58% of the votes among families with a monthly income of one minimum wage (up from 55% in the previous poll, released on September 12). 

According to the numbers, Lula received 63% of the votes in the Northeast Region, an increase of two percentage points compared to the previous survey.

Among black and mixed-race voters, the former president obtained 52% (it was 50%).

The candidate garnered 78% of the vote among those who negatively evaluate the Jair Bolsonaro government (up from 76%).

The former president received 55% of the vote in households where at least one person receives federal government assistance (the same percentage as in the previous survey).

Among people with elementary education, Lula obtained 58%, compared to 55% in the previous round.

Among Catholics (53%, compared to 52% previously).

In the current survey, Lula stands out among voters who live in municipalities with up to 50 inhabitants (53%).

Bolsonaro

The current occupant of the Planalto Palace obtained 48% of the votes among evangelicals, the same percentage as in the last poll. 

Bolsonaro received 41% of the vote in the Southern Region, the same percentage as last week.

Among men, the PL candidate gained one percentage point (currently at 36%).

In households where no one receives assistance from the federal government, Bolsonaro had 33%, one percentage point less. 

Among those who rate his government as excellent or good, the head of the federal Executive branch reached 83%, compared to 82% on September 12th.

In the current survey, Bolsonaro stood out among voters with higher education (37%).

3.008 voters were interviewed between September 17th and 18th in 181 cities. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus. The confidence level was 95%. The survey was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under protocol BR-00073/2022.
