Luciano Hang abandons ship, vents his frustrations, and harshly criticizes Bolsonaro.
The businessman's main concern would be the possible candidacy of one of Bolsonaro's sons for the Presidency in 2026.
247 - Businessman Luciano Hang, owner of Havan and a prominent figure in the Bolsonaro movement, recently expressed dissatisfaction with former president Jair Bolsonaro. According to information from columnist Paulo Cappelli, of [source missing]. Metropolis, Hang has criticized, in private conversations, the former president's stance, pointing out that he prioritizes his own interests and those of his family to the detriment of political allies.
The businessman's main concern would be the possible candidacy of one of Bolsonaro's sons for the Presidency in 2026. Ineligible, the former president is considering launching Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) or Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) in the race, a decision that does not please Hang. For him, the best path would be a conservative name outside the family circle, such as the governor of Paraná, Ratinho Júnior (PSD), who was re-elected with 69% of the votes.
Ally feels left out.
Luciano Hang, who invested R$ 1 million in Bolsonaro's 2022 campaign and stood by his side during crucial moments, reportedly complained about the former president's absence in recent months. The businessman, known for his emphatic tone on social media and at political events, told associates that he "gave his blood" for Bolsonaro, but now feels overlooked.
During Bolsonaro's government, Hang became a target of the Covid CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry), being indicted for "incitement to crime" in the report by Senator Renan Calheiros (MDB), an ally of Lula. Despite the damage, the businessman maintained his unwavering support for the former president and actively participated in pro-Bolsonaro demonstrations. Now, however, the relationship between the two seems strained.
Hospitalization and message to followers
Luciano Hang's outbursts occurred days before he underwent a catheterization procedure at the Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital, in São Paulo, last Thursday (6). After the surgery, he reassured his followers with a message about the importance of taking care of one's health. “I have always been very concerned and I have regular check-ups. When you discover the problem early, it is much easier to treat and resolve. The lesson learned is: take care of your health,” he said.
The future of the right in 2026
Besides Eduardo and Flávio, Bolsonaro is also considering other names for the succession, albeit with less enthusiasm. Among the alternatives mentioned are the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos), and the governor of Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado (União Brasil), as well as Ratinho Júnior himself.
