247 - The leader of the PT party in the Chamber of Deputies, federal deputy Lindbergh Farias (RJ), celebrated the decision of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), which ordered police presence at the residence of former president Jair Bolsonaro, currently under house arrest.

"Victory for democracy," the congressman wrote on the X platform. In the post, he explained that Moraes' decision, resulting from a request he made, "establishes the deployment of police teams to guarantee permanent surveillance with the objective of ensuring the effectiveness of judicial decisions and protecting the Democratic Rule of Law."

In another post, Lindbergh sent a direct message to Bolsonaro: "He won't escape!". "Alexandre de Moraes agrees with my request and orders the police to monitor Bolsonaro 24 hours a day to prevent him from escaping! Great day for democracy," he added.

The decision by Justice Alexandre de Moraes, in the context of Inquiry 4.995/DF, reinforces the protection of public order and the application of criminal law. Due to the proximity of the trial in Criminal Action 2.668 and the insufficiency of the imposed precautionary measures, given the concrete risk of flight to evade justice, the Justice ordered full, real-time monitoring of Jair Bolsonaro's residential address, where he is serving house arrest.

The measure, requested by us, with the support of the Federal Police and a favorable opinion from the Attorney General's Office, establishes the deployment of police teams to guarantee permanent surveillance with the objective of ensuring the effectiveness of judicial decisions and protecting the Democratic Rule of Law.
