'Lamentable,' says the mayor of Araraquara after Bolsonaro revives fake news.
There is no record in the city of any complaint involving 'cats and dogs as food', repeated Edinho Silva (PT).
Capital Letter - During an interview with a radio station in Ceará broadcast this morning, Bolsonaro repeated, without presenting any evidence, that "there [in Araraquara], people even ate dogs and cats." He also said, again questioning the electoral system, that "this mayor was re-elected, and we can't understand that."
On social media, Edinho Silva stated that the City Hall "regrets and reiterates that this is yet another..." fake news".
"This is false news being spread by those who should be curbing this practice. There is no record in the city of this complaint involving 'cats and dogs as food,' or anything similar," he added.
