Jungmann ordered the Federal Police to disobey a court order to release Lula.

In an open subversion of the constitutional order, the PF's hierarchical superior, Raul Jungmann, ordered the institution to disobey a court order to release Lula on Sunday morning (9), after being instructed in an irregular phone call by Judge Thompson Flores, president of the TRF-4; almost at the same time, Moro, in another illegal action, gave the same order to Roberval Ré Vicalvi, executive director of the PF in Paraná, in a phone call from Portugal, where he is on vacation.

Jungmann ordered the Federal Police to disobey a court order to release Lula.

247 - In an open subversion of the constitutional order, the hierarchical superior of the Federal Police, the Minister of Public Security, Raul Jungmann, ordered the institution to disobey the judicial order to release Lula on Sunday morning (9), after being instructed in an irregular phone call by Judge Thompson Flores, president of the Regional Federal Court of the 4th Region (TRF-4).

It was a double operation. While Thompson Flores and Jungmann were coordinating, Sérgio Moro was doing the same with Roberval Ré Vicalvi, executive director of the Federal Police in Paraná. As soon as he learned of the order for Lula's release, Vicalvi, in another illegal action, called Moro's cell phone, which he answered in Portugal, where he is on vacation, and gave express orders for former President Lula to remain imprisoned. Vicalvi rushed to the Federal Police headquarters while Moro's order was reinforced in another phone call, this time from Jungmann.

In a text message exchange with congresswoman Maria do Rosário (PT-RS), Jungman made it clear that he would not allow the court order to be enforced. He gave a succinct and surreal response: "a court order is to be obeyed." But he was not referring to the only order that was in effect when he spoke with the congresswoman, but to the irregular conversation he had with Flores.
