The judge who ordered Hytalo Santos' arrest points to "strong evidence" of human trafficking and child exploitation.
The case remains under judicial secrecy, and further investigations are expected to be carried out.
247 - Digital influencer Hytalo Santos, arrested this Friday morning (15) in Carapicuíba (SP), is the target of an investigation into serious crimes against children and adolescents. The decision ordering his preventive detention was signed by Judge Antônio Rudimacy Firmino de Sousa, of the Court of Justice of Paraíba (TJPB), and points to “strong evidence” of human trafficking, sexual exploitation and other crimes. The information is from Metropolis.
According to the document, the evidence gathered so far in the police investigation, combined with witness testimonies, indicates the occurrence of the following crimes: human trafficking; sexual exploitation; child labor and irregular artistic work involving minors; as well as the production and dissemination of videos that embarrass children and adolescents on social media.
The magistrate emphasized that the arrest of Hytalo and her husband, Israel Nata Vicente, known as Euro, is an "essential measure" to preserve the procedural investigation, protect evidence, and prevent witnesses from being intimidated. According to the court, there are records of attempted coercion, which "reveals a clear intention to hinder the ascertainment of the truth and compromise the effectiveness of the judicial process."
The decision also mentions the failed search and seizure operation last Wednesday (August 13), when agents went to the luxury condominium in the Portal do Sol neighborhood, in João Pessoa (PB), where the couple lived. The property was empty, with signs of sudden abandonment.
The judge emphasized that "the destruction of documents, concealment of data storage devices, and removal of documents from areas to be visited by judicial agents demonstrate the need for extreme measures to ensure the integrity of the evidence and the regularity of the investigative procedure."
Hytalo Santos, who has a large presence on social media, is being investigated for keeping minors in his home and, according to the investigation, subjecting them to exploitative and adultifying practices. The case remains under judicial secrecy, and further investigations are expected.
