João Gordo: Fascist metalheads will regret it.
"I don't exchange ideas with fascists, no way. Those fascist metalheads are all going to regret it. How can these guys claim to be Satanists, listen to black metal, say they're fans of the devil and all that, but support fundamentalist Christians? They're crazy, man, you know?", said the rocker, in an interview with a radio station in Recife.
247 - Musician João Gordo, former vocalist of the band Ratos de Porão, said that "metalheads" will regret having supported conservatives. According to him, there is no possibility of a relationship with "fascists."
"I don't exchange ideas with fascists, no. These fascist metalheads are all going to regret it. How can these guys say they're Satanists, listen to black metal, say they're fans of the devil and all that, but support fundamentalist Christians? These guys are crazy, man, you know?", said the rocker, in an interview on the program Interdependente, broadcast by Frei Caneca FM, in Recife (PE).
"The easiest thing to happen is Malafaia, those Christian sons of bitches, banning black metal and death metal bands from playing here, man. Because they talk about the devil, you know? It's all ridiculous, man. Back in the day, metal was against all that. Now it's on the side of those sons of bitches? I think that's bullshit and I always say: you can't stand fascists, man. They don't understand, they're stupid, they're closed-minded. They believe in lies and they're racist. They're everything that's bad, so you can't stand them," João Gordo concluded.
