247 - Congressman Jean Wyllys (PSOL-RJ), who resigned from his third term due to constant threats, sent a letter to the Minister of Justice, Sérgio Moro, stating that these threats have resurfaced.
According to journalist Monica Bergamo, a person using the name Emerson Eduardo Rodrigues Setim claims to be planning the assassination of Jean Wyllys' family members. "This is not bravado, it's just a warning," the message states. "Three hitmen have been placed at the service of our corporation, Comando Virtual Marcelo Valle. The objective given was the elimination of three targets in a non-consecutive manner."
Wyllys's advisors are asking Moro that, "given the seriousness of the messages, especially considering the context in which the congressman was forced to leave Brazil to preserve his own physical integrity," an immediate investigation be carried out into these and other episodes and threats to which Congressman Jean Wyllys has been violently subjected.
