247 - Brazil's Attorney General, Rodrigo Janot, is expected to request the arrest of former prosecutor and his former trusted aide, Marcelo Miller, suspected of acting in favor of JBS executives while still working as an investigator in the Lava Jato corruption probe. According to members of Janot's team, Miller allegedly committed the crimes of influence peddling, obstruction of justice, and criminal organization. Janot is also expected to request the arrest of whistleblower and JBS owner Joesley Batista, and company executive Ricardo Saud.

According to the newspaper O Globo, members of Janot's cabinet are already certain that any arrest warrants against Miller, Joesley, and Saud would be granted by the rapporteur of the Lava Jato cases at the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Minister Edson Fachin. The STF ministers were reportedly angered by the content of a conversation in which Batista and Saud say they will pressure former Justice Minister José Eduardo Cardozo to make compromising revelations about the court's ministers.
