247 - First Lady Rosângela da Silva, known as Janja, expressed solidarity, this Tuesday (24), with the family and friends of Brazilian Juliana Marins, 26, who died after falling during a hike on the Rinjani volcano, on the island of Lombok, Indonesia. Originally from Niterói, Juliana was an advertising professional and had been backpacking through Asia since February.

She had been missing since Friday (20). According to reports from rescue teams, Juliana had fallen about 600 meters from the point where she fell and was found in a deep ravine.

On social media, Janja mourned the young woman's death, describing her as someone with a "free spirit and a wide smile."

“When a woman so young, free-spirited, and with such a wide smile, like Juliana, leaves us, we are left with the sadness of moments not lived. But the inspiration from all the strength and courage she had to realize her dreams and live with enthusiasm also resonates within us,” said Janja. “I leave here all my affection and solidarity for Juliana's family and friends. May God comfort their hearts and may her light always shine upon them!”
