Under investigation by the Federal Police, Paulinho da Força denies wrongdoing.

According to him, the Solidariedade party does not make nominations for the Ministry of Labor.

"My statement regarding Operation Spurious Registration, launched today by the Federal Police, has no basis whatsoever, other than to criminalize the labor movement as a whole," the congressman said in a statement.

He then added that "I am completely unaware of the facts being investigated and I clarify that the Solidarity party is not responsible for the appointments in the Ministry of Labor."

This morning, the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Police executed search and seizure warrants in the offices of three parliamentarians in the Chamber of Deputies. In addition to Congressman Paulinho da Força, Jovair Arantes (PTB-GO) and Wilson Filho (PTB-PB) are also under investigation.

More than 320 federal police officers are executing 64 search and seizure warrants, 8 preventive arrest warrants, and 15 temporary arrest warrants, in addition to other precautionary measures in the Federal District, São Paulo, Goiás, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Minas Gerais.
