247 - The national president of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), Felipe Santa Cruz, believes that Jair Bolsonaro's interference in the Federal Police is already evident.

In an interview with the website MetropolisThe lawyer states that the evidence presented by former Minister of Justice and Public Security Sergio Moro, now corroborated by revelations made public by businessman Paulo Marinho, alternate senator for Flávio Bolsonaro, demonstrates Bolsonaro's intentions to "control the Federal Police" for his own benefit and that of his family.

"The undue interference in the Federal Police is already, in part, characterized. The proof that Moro presented of direct influence, with the president saying: '10 to 12 PSL deputies will answer to an inquiry at the Federal Police in Rio,' and the president points out that this is the reason for removing the superintendent. I think there was interference," he assessed.

According to Felipe Santa Cruz, the revelations made by businessman Paulo MarinhoThe leak of information about an operation against the family related to the second round of the 2018 elections shows how the corporation was being manipulated to serve political interests.

“These are serious facts, prior to his term in office, this must be said, but which, if all proven, constitute a very worrying state of affairs. The Federal Police cannot be controlled by the president,” he emphasized.
