His government refused on Wednesday (29) the support offered by Argentina to the victims of the heavy rains that have hit Bahia in recent days. The information comes from the state government.
In a statement, the government of Bahia reports: "The neighboring country intended to immediately send a mission to southern Bahia with professionals specialized in the areas of water, sanitation, logistics, and psychosocial support for disaster victims."
Governor Rui Costa thanked the offer of humanitarian aid on social media and asked the federal government to quickly authorize the international mission.
