Because of this, he went into a bar in Sinop to watch a game. He was one of the victims of Edgar Ricardo de Oliveira, 30, and Ezequias Souza Ribeiro, 27, the perpetrators of the massacre that killed seven people at the bar.

According to Cícero Dias, Josué's adopted son, his father happened to be there by chance. He was selling fruit and entered the bar unexpectedly.

“He and other people had nothing to do with it. It was cruel, an inhumane situation. It still hasn't sunk in. Whoever does something like that is a monster,” Cícero told the portal. G1.
