Haddad: "The PT changed the history of the country because it put the people at the center of attention."
"The PT is responsible for a major transformation of Brazil in several areas," emphasized the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad.
247 - During the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Workers' Party (PT), which took place in Rio de Janeiro this Saturday (22), the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, emphasized the historical relevance of the party and its impact on the transformation of Brazil.
"The Workers' Party (PT) is the most important event of the last 50 years. It emerged before it was founded, uniting workers, organizations, and the church to create a popular party that transformed Brazil and put the people at the center of attention," the minister stated.
Haddad highlighted the diverse backgrounds of the party's founders, centered around a political project focused on social justice and reducing inequalities.
"The PT is responsible for a major transformation of Brazil in several areas and changed the history of the country once and for all, because it put the people at the center of attention," he added.
Haddad also addressed the importance of democracy and the alternation of power, stating that, even with changes in the political landscape, the PT's legacy will remain present in Brazil's history.
"Even if there is a change of power, and that is natural in a democracy, it is very unlikely that this legacy of the PT will be forgotten: that of looking at the humblest Brazilian and considering him a member of a community," he said.
