247 - President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) is preparing a plan to respond to the drop in government popularity recorded in polls in recent weeks. The Planalto Palace is preparing a package of announcements involving social measures to combat inflation and an offensive on social media against attacks from the opposition. This information comes from journalist Gustavo Uribe, of [source name missing]. CNN Brazil.

The government's idea is to recover the popularity of voters who no longer rate Lula's administration as excellent or good. According to the latest surveys, the decline also occurred among low-income voters in the North and Northeast, a traditional base of support for the president.

Government officials are already working on developing public policies to lower the price of food, medicine, and construction materials. In addition, programs are expected to offer cheaper credit lines for micro-entrepreneurs, in an effort to overcome high interest rates.

In terms of communication, the strategy involves highlighting the ministerial team to defend the president, especially the centrist ministers. The idea is to try to "break through the Workers' Party bubble" and ensure that public policies also reach the moderate electorate, which does not follow leftist profiles.

For social media, progressive influencers should produce content in defense of the federal government. Lula is expected to receive these influencers at the Palácio do Planalto (Presidential Palace) to produce content together, defending measures such as increasing the free access to the Farmácia Popular (Popular Pharmacy) program and controlling import tariffs.

Caravans Lula has also been advised to resume the so-called "citizenship caravans," which he carried out in the 90s. Trips through the interior of the country would help to popularize the president's image and gain support among low-income voters.

In these caravans, Lula would be accompanied by local leaders, both from the left and the center. This is what happened on the president's trip to Macapá, when he was accompanied by the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP).
