GGN: Dodge was quick and ruthless with Favreto, but negligent with the Republic of Curitiba.

247 "Raquel Dodge has already filed complaints against the judge who granted Lula's freedom on two fronts. In one of them, at the National Council of Justice, she is requesting the maximum penalty for Rogério Favreto: compulsory retirement," says journalist Cíntia Alves in the GGN newspaper. "Meanwhile, the accusations about the controversial industry of plea bargaining rest on the desk of the head of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office. Dodge is known for her double standards when it comes to Lula and the abuses of the 'Republic of Curitiba'," she adds.

The journalist emphasizes that "even Minister Gilmar Mendes, of the Supreme Federal Court, has publicly demanded that the Attorney General investigate the prosecutors in Curitiba, due to suspicions that they choose the lawyers with whom they make plea bargains." "Are evidence only useful to the prosecutors when Lula is in the dock? Are investigations only requested when the judge has ruled in favor of the former president, either arbitrarily or masking the basis of their actions?" she questions.
