Flávio and Eduardo Bolsonaro distort Lula's words and try to use the MTST to undermine the former president.

Lula stated that the MTST will have a place in his potential third government to participate in the formulation of public policies on housing.

247 - In yet another step in the campaign against former president Lula (PT), who leads the polls to return to the Presidency of the Republic, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) and Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (União Brasil-SP) distorted a The Workers' Party member's statement about the MTST. (Homeless Workers' Movement).

In a video addressed to the movement, the former president stated that land rights activists will not be "supporting actors" in his potential third term, but rather "subjects" of history. He said that the MTST (Homeless Workers' Movement) will be invited to participate in the formulation of public policies on housing.

>>> Lula says that the MTST will not be a "supporting actor," but rather a "player" in a new PT government.

On the Bolsonaro clan's social media networks, however, the story is different. Flávio and Eduardo Bolsonaro shared the former president's statement implying that he expressed support for land "invasions" as a way to turn rural residents against Lula.

The senator went further and insulted the former president, calling him a "nine-fingered thief." It's worth remembering that Lula had all his convictions overturned by the Supreme Federal Court (STF), including those handed down in the context of Lava Jato, which makes him innocent.

Sought by Brazil 247Lula's press office did not respond. The space remains open for any eventual response from the former president.
