Bolsonaro's son is pushing for Lula to be sent to a regular prison.
A political prisoner for almost a year, after being convicted to prevent him from running in an election he would have easily won, former president Lula may be transferred to a regular prison; at least that's what Eduardo Bolsonaro, son of Jair Bolsonaro, argues. Jair Bolsonaro only got elected because Lula was imprisoned without evidence.

"It's absurd that Lula isn't going to a regular prison. Where is the constitutional equality? The Federal Police spends absurd amounts reinforcing security at the SR/PR where he is, and everyone thinks this privilege is normal? Hello @policiafederal, hello @justicafederal! Could the laws also be to blame for this???", Eduardo posted on Twitter.
In a Official statement regarding the Lula Livre Vigil Last week, Judge Fernando Paulino da Silva Wolff Filho, without being asked to do so, mentioned the possibility of transferring Lula to a regular prison. See the excerpt where the transfer is mentioned:
"Given the circumstances, before deliberating on the possessory issue discussed in the subsequent sections of the case file, and again seeking to resolve the dispute with restraint and balance, I deem it reasonable to send an official letter to the Federal Court responsible for the execution of the sentence of former President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva, whose sentence, it should be noted, was recently extended with a second conviction at first instance, sending it a copy of this decision and the entirety of these appeal proceedings, especially the reports from the Military Police of Paraná, so that, should that Court deem it pertinent, such documents may serve to support the public and well-known incidents of transfer between penal establishments, the objective of which is the transfer of former President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva to prison establishments that are theoretically more suitable given the circumstances," says the magistrate.
