247 - The Ministry of Education (MEC) will release this Tuesday (14) the result of the single call for the Student Financing Fund (Fies), which in 2023 had 205.177 registered candidates.
The most sought-after courses were medicine, law, nursing, dentistry, and psychology. For this phase of FIES (Student Financing Fund), 67.301 funding slots were made available.
The list of approved candidates can be found at website of the program. Those who qualify must complete their registration from March 15th to 17th.
Those who are not selected in the regular call will be automatically included on the waiting list and will have the chance to compete for any remaining vacancies, if any, after the single call. The announcement of those selected in this phase will take place between March 21st and May 18th.

- The student must go to the educational institution within 5 days to present the required documentation;
- Within 10 days, starting from the third business day after the visit to the educational institution, the student must go to a financial institution (such as Caixa Econômica Federal) to formalize the financing contract.
