247 - Former President Fernando Henrique Cardoso suffered a fractured femur and is hospitalized at the Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo. On social media, the PSDB party expressed hope for his speedy recovery, but did not specify how the fracture occurred.
"We wish a speedy recovery to President Fernando Henrique Cardoso, hospitalized today due to a fractured femur. Receive a hug from the PSDB members of all Brazil, @FHC," the party posted on Twitter.
