Caixa's real estate fair sells R$ 9,3 billion in properties.

Business volume exceeded last year by R$ 900 million.

The seventh edition of the Home Ownership Fair, organized by Caixa Econômica Federal, generated around R$ 9,3 billion in closed and ongoing deals during the first two weekends. This volume is higher than that recorded in 2010, when the event generated R$ 8,4 billion in business.

Between Friday and Sunday, more than 229 visitors attended the events in Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Recife, Porto Alegre, and Campinas (SP). Over the last two weekends, the fair attracted a total audience of 411 people. The program continues between June 3rd and 5th in Belém. Between June 10th and 12th, the city of Florianópolis will host the fair, in its final weekend.

In Rio de Janeiro, the bank received over 66 visitors, who generated R$ 1,16 billion in transactions. In the federal capital, the event attracted almost 41 people, with a turnover of R$ 827 million. In Recife, 44 people attended, with R$ 613 million in invested resources. In the capital of Minas Gerais, the Fair registered approximately 32 visitors and R$ 840 million, while in the city of Campinas it gathered 21 visitors, generating R$ 616 million.
